A very special and heartfelt thanks goes to Margo who did all of the graphic design and concept for the “huru” logo (which means individual freedom in Swahili) and her idea of a butterfly went over so big with the girls! Margo also designed the key component for the kit, which is the educational insert. This insert contains messaging about HIV/AIDS (critically important to girls that are uninformed and do not have any access to the facts about this deadly virus), personal hygiene information, and care instructions for how to clean their pads. All of the partners were buzzing about he potential to add even more educational, life saving information to these kits. The potential is huge. A million thanks to you Margo.
